Dental Exams & Check Ups
Regular checkups and cleanings will help keep your teeth healthy longer and spot potential problems while they are still easy to solve. Unless you have pain, you may have dental issues you don’t even know about.
Teeth Cleaning
Everyone over the age of four should visit their dentist for a professional teeth cleaning at least twice a year. Our friendly team offers comfortable dental cleanings that keep your smile beautiful while keeping you relaxed and at ease.
Cavity Fillings
A dental filling is a way to stop the progression of decay. By cleaning out the decayed portions of the tooth, disinfecting the space and then closing it off with the filling material, bacteria is prevented from entering and continuing the decay process.
Root Canal
A root canal is a treatment to save a badly decayed or infected tooth instead of removing it. The procedure involves removing the damaged area of the tooth, cleaning and disinfecting it and then filling and sealing it.
Tooth Extractions
Dr. Thomas makes every effort to save natural teeth, but if a tooth is too badly damaged by decay or trauma it must be pulled in order to maintain your oral health. When a tooth is pulled it is called an extraction.
Preliminary Evaluation
A specialized periodontal examination for coordination and/or crown placements for dental implants by specialists. This may consists of x-rays, dental impressions and oral cancer screenings.
Dental Sealants
Dental sealants are thin coatings that protect the chewing surfaces from cavities by covering them with a protective shield that blocks out harmful germs and food, which can prevent cavities and tooth decay for many years.
Flouride Treatments
Fluoride is a natural mineral that builds strong teeth and helps to prevent cavities for added protection. Fluoride supports healthy tooth enamel and fights the bad bacteria that harm your teeth and gums.
Custom Athletic Mouthguards
A Device you place over your teeth to protect against dental and orofacial injuries while participating in sports. Typically worn over the upper teeth, and may be advisable to cover the lower teeth as well.
